What was done
The first 1,034 of 2,552 functions of the 2006 Nintendo DS cooking game recovered as byte-matching C, generated from an agent work queue.
A matching decompilation of Cooking Mama on the Nintendo DS (USA, ACCE cartridge code) rebuilds each function so the compiled result matches the ROM byte for byte. The project comes from the same author and pipeline as DS Decomp Studio, which splits matching decompilations between people and AI agents, and its rules file is written as instructions for AI agents.
How it was done
Each function must pass a verification gate: the compiled output has to match the original bytes exactly and the ROM has to rebuild identically, and anything less is never committed. Function candidates come from automated m2c drafts, and the queue shows which are auto-matched and still awaiting clean-up. The compiler is the original Metrowerks ARM one, with its version still an open task tracked by a probe script.
Results
The progress table reports 1,034 of 2,552 functions matched at 15.34 percent of the code, all in the auto-matched class awaiting review, with data matching not started yet. No game assets are in the repository. Build and status runs are documented with two commands.
