What was done

1,489 of 2,361 functions of Powerpuff Girls Z matched, with the same infrastructure its sister decompilations use.

A matching decompilation of Powerpuff Girls Z on the Nintendo DS (cart code YPPJ) rebuilds the game as C that compiles back to the original bytes. Its instructions file is addressed to AI agents, and it is generated from the same author and queue infrastructure as the other Nintendo DS decompilations covered on this site.

How it was done

The build follows the same verification discipline as its siblings: a function only counts when it compiles to the exact same bytes and the ROM still rebuilds byte for byte, and draft functions are produced in bulk by automatic translation before clean-up. A progress table in the project, updated by its tooling, shows the split between finished and pending work.

Results

1,489 of 2,361 functions are recorded as matched, equal to 26 percent of the code, of which 585 are auto-matched drafts still awaiting review and 904 reuse code from other decompilations pending merge. Data matching has not started. No game assets are in the repository and the build needs the player own cartridge image to produce and verify a ROM.
