What was done
mr0ta used Claude Code on top of the snesrecomp framework and the GaiaLabs disassembly to build a native Illusion of Gaia port with language options, an MSU-1 soundtrack and HD scaling.
Babel Recomp is a native port of Illusion of Gaia for the SNES. The README discloses that it was developed with the assistance of Claude through Claude Code, directed, tested and reviewed by mr0ta.
How it was done
The port is built on the snesrecomp static-recompilation framework and the recomp-ui launcher. It leans on the GaiaLabs toolkit, disassembly and database for symbols, the text format and reference patches. Nothing from the game is in the repository or releases, and everything is read from the user's own legally obtained ROM when they play.

A Switch homebrew build was tested on hardware from start to finish, and Android, 3DS and PlayStation Vita builds exist at earlier test levels.
