The project performs a static recompilation of the Xbox 360 XBLA title Zuma for native PC execution. It utilizes the ReXGlue SDK, which provides a Xenia-derived runtime and a PowerPC to C++ recompiler. The author reports that the port builds and boots to the title screen on Windows using the Xenos D3D12 renderer. Development involved heavy use of AI coding tools, specifically large language models, to assist with port code, tooling, and documentation. Two specific recompilation bugs were addressed: an FP-exception crash on host-side threads caused by incorrect MXCSR state handling, and a deterministic access violation in libjpeg due to improper setjmp/longjmp round trips. These were resolved by patching the SDK and configuring function addresses in zuma_functions.toml. The project remains in an early bring-up state, and gameplay beyond the title screen is untested. The repository requires a legally obtained Zuma XBLA package to function. See Zuma ReXGlue Recompilation for build instructions and prerequisites.
Reproduce it
Clone the repository with submodules, ensure MSVC headers are available, and run build.ps1 with the path to a legally obtained Zuma XBLA content package.
