What was done
A macOS remote and local API documentation for a Philips Titan OS television, covering app launch, HDMI switching, Ambilight, YouTube control and Wake-on-LAN.
This project combines a macOS menu-bar remote for a Philips Titan OS television with documentation of its local network interfaces. It was tested by the author with a Philips 55PML9019/12. The app supports actions such as launching installed apps, switching HDMI inputs, controlling Ambilight and YouTube playback, and waking the TV over the network. It can also control an Orange TV decoder in the author's setup.
The API notes focus on control paths available when classic JointSpace app and source requests return HTTP 403. The repository documents the Titan OS MQTT protocol, JointSpace v6, DIAL, and YouTube Lounge API, including findings from examining the official mobile app. The README links to a separate first-person account of how the investigation and app were built with AI.
The project is both a device-specific remote and a developer reference. The author notes the tested TV model, firmware, and surrounding equipment so readers can judge how closely their own setup matches. Other Titan OS televisions may behave differently; the repository invites reports rather than claiming every model has been verified.
