What was done

Claude Opus 5.5 brought Boba Fett's Battlefront II model into Red Dead Redemption 2, reverse engineering the file formats to write its own exporter, and built his jetpack, weapons and voice lines into the game.

Chris (@ChrisGPT) and Angaisb used Claude Opus 5.5 to put Boba Fett from Star Wars Battlefront II into Red Dead Redemption 2. Their own rule of no accounts and no payments ruled out the existing export tools, so Claude reverse engineered the file formats and wrote its own exporter.

How it was done

Claude brought the character's actual Battlefront II model into RDR2 and fitted it to Arthur Morgan's skeleton. It then built a working jetpack, blaster, rockets and flamethrower, using Boba Fett's original voice lines. For the flying footage, Claude scripted the controls and checked screenshots across 14 takes. The mod follows an earlier one by the same pair that put Arthur Morgan into Battlefront II, where Opus did most of the mod and Codex was mostly used to research what was technically possible.

Results

The finished clip shows Boba Fett hovering over Valentine and firing rockets down the street, and saving Arthur Morgan from a beating by Micah. Only the video is public: the post shares no exporter code or format notes.
