What was done
A bash loop has Claude pick the easiest unmatched N64 function and try to match it, running unattended for 8+ hours. Three weeks beat the previous three months.
Where the human stepped in
Claude sometimes ignored the attempt limit and got lost between directories; defensive tooling fixed this better than prompt changes. The project later reached 100% matching decompilation with help from the N64 decomp community and other agents (GLM, Codex), and a native recompiled release followed.
