What was done

A modder used Claude Code to build a matching pipeline that carries the developers' own C++ symbols from Switch and Android builds over to 10 PC and Xbox 360 builds of the Storm games, ready to load into Ghidra or IDA.

exavadw published about 142,000 function names for CyberConnect2's NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM games across 10 PC and Xbox 360 builds, ready to load into Ghidra, IDA, Binary Ninja, x64dbg or Visual Studio. The README says Claude, through Claude Code, wrote most of the matching pipeline and ran the analysis while a human directed it.

How it was done

The names come from the developers' own symbols, not from the model. The Nintendo Switch Storm Trilogy build shipped with C++ symbols, which were bridged through stripped Switch builds to the PC builds. Other sources were the exported symbols of the Storm 1 Android build, function name strings left in debug builds, rebuilt open source libraries the games link, and RTTI, vtables and export tables. Matches use shared strings, Ghidra BSim similarity and call graph position. A Claude Haiku model reviewed low confidence matches by comparing decompilations and marked them verified or disputed.

Results

Coverage ranges from 15% of functions on the Xbox 360 build to 53% on Storm 1 PC, and every name carries a confidence level. The scripts apply names only to the exact executable they were made for, checked by SHA-256. The repository holds names and addresses only, with no game files, and the data is public domain.
