What was done
Amped 3 (Xbox 360) statically recompiled into C++ with ReXGlue and Claude, now running at up to 4K with upscale options and controller support.
Amped 3 Revamped statically recompiles the Xbox 360 snowboarding game Amped 3 into a native Windows executable using the ReXGlue SDK, with Claude listed as the tool behind the port and in its commit history.
How it was done
The README shows a launcher and setup script that expects the player own extracted game files next to the project, uses the ReXGlue pipeline, and does not ship any game code. Settings are saved to a local config file, and the whole install is one portable folder.
Results
The recomp runs at user chosen output resolution up to 4K, with a render scale and XeSS or FSR upscaling, plus enhancements not present in the original: camera and object motion blur, speed blur, and sun rays. A frame rate system supports 30, 40, 60, 90, 120 and unlocked modes. Controllers connect through SDL3 with hot-plugging, and an in-game options menu is reachable with a controller. The README documents tested hardware range, an Intel laptop reaching around 60 frames per second at half-resolution scale at 1080p, and Proton on SteamOS.
