This project provides prebuilt ReXGlue SDK packages for Xbox 360 static-recompilation, including patches to fix XMA audio clicking issues in games like OutRun Online Arcade by correctly handling stream skip metadata.
The ReXGlue SDK builds repository provides precompiled SDK packages for Xbox 360 static-recompilation projects, allowing game repositories to avoid redundant local compilation. The project focuses on resolving audio playback issues, specifically clicking artifacts in OutRun Online Arcade caused by improper handling of XMA stream start and end skip fields. The author reports that stock FFmpeg decoders discard these fields, leading to silent gaps during loop re-submissions. By applying patches to export these skips as metadata and modifying the XmaContext to drop flagged samples, the SDK achieves seamless audio loops. Verification was performed using an offline harness driving XmaContext directly, confirming a reduction from 12,800 to 12,288 samples per pass. Recent development, co-authored with Claude Opus 5.5, has introduced further refinements including declicking, ring buffer management, and diagnostic tracing to address starvation and underrun issues. The SDK contains no game code or data and is licensed under BSD-3-Clause.
