Crackdown 2 (Xbox 360, 2010): Same engine, sequel to a known recompilation path.

What was done

A ReXGlue static recompilation reuses the Crackdown 1 pipeline on the same engine, takes a disc dump plus title update, and runs the Xenos GPU path on D3D12.

A static recompilation of Crackdown 2 (Xbox 360, 2010) built on the ReXGlue SDK, reusing the pipeline from the earlier Crackdown 1 recompilation since both games run on the same engine. Most recent commits carry Claude Opus 5.5 or Claude Sonnet 5.5 as co-author.

How it was done

The repository contains no game data and no generated code: the player supplies a world multi language disc dump, the official title update and the release DLC packages, and the tools extract and checksum each part with documented SHA-256 values before anything is addressed. The recompilation always runs against the title-update-patched binary. Builds need Visual Studio 2022, LLVM Clang 20 and CMake, and run the games Xenos GPU through a D3D12 GPU plugin.

Results

Code generation completes with zero unresolved calls and the Windows build links. The game boots to the title screen on the Xenos GPU path. Gameplay, menus, audio, input, a 60 frame per second mode, PC options, launcher and installer are listed as not yet done, and the re-notes document what the title needed to get through code generation.
