What was done
Claude-assisted native recompilation of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, with Vulkan rendering and documented Linux progress.
ACNHRecomp translates Animal Crossing: New Horizons 3.0.2 from Nintendo Switch AArch64 code into C++, reimplements system services and maps NVN graphics calls to Vulkan. It builds on SuperMarioWonderRecomp. The README says Claude Code wrote nearly all new code, tools and documentation under human direction and testing.\n\nThe maintainer reports working character creation, island arrival and free roaming on Linux with an Intel Iris Xe GPU. Important limitations remain: the first save has not been verified through a full playthrough, online features are unavailable, some villagers have rendering defects, and a correct native 60 FPS mode is unfinished. macOS scripts exist but are untested.\n\nUsers supply their own game dump, update and console keys; the repository distributes no game files or keys. Progress is maintainer-reported. Source and status documentation.
